Salmon Tofu Patties

tofu salmon patties

As long as you don’t use too much oil when frying these salmon tofu patties, they make a great lunch or dinner. You can also try making larger patties and put it between some whole grain bread for a healthier sandwich.

1 block firm tofu
1 can salmon
1 egg
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 tsp. salt
1/4 cup green onions (optional)

  1. Combine drained tofu and raw egg.
  2. Add cornstarch, salt, and green onions.
  3. Drain and flake the can of salmon and add to the mixture.
  4. Form into small patties and pan fry in a little oil.

The sauce I use with these salmon tofu patties is Mae Ploy – Sweet Chili Sauce. I usually find it in the Asian food aisle of the supermarket next to the soy sauce and other Asian chili sauces. Also, try switching the can of salmon for tuna if you are in the mood for Ahi Tofu Patties instead. I really like them either way.

This sounds scrumptious. Just bought some firm tofu yesterday, not quite sure what to do with it just yet but this is high on the list of choices. Thanks for stopping by. :)

Hi Pixie –
Thanks, this is one of my favorite things to have when I need to use up firm tofu.
I like your new blog, the toffee apple pudding looks delicious! 😉
