I made this recipe and it was the most simple and delicious thing ever! What a WONDERFUL idea to combine the flavors of cilantro and mustard. I used honey mustard and it was so yummy :)

Hi M -
Yes, food fried with panko is very delicious! The baked way does taste a little different, but still good. For me, the sour cream and cilantro turn up the flavor enough so that I don't even miss it being fried. ;)

I fry with panko all the time. The food comes out crunchy and dellicious. Never thought of baking with it. I'll try it next time. The chicken looks like it's moist. Keep the healthier recipies coming!

Donald -
Thanks! And that's okay, you can make up for lost time and just panko everything! Well, maybe not everything but lots of things. I think I like vegetables the most. Eggplant, onions, and green bell peppers are my favorites. Just bake or fry then dip it in tempura sauce...so delicious!

That looks extremely tasty! I am a huge fan of Panko. After I began using it, my wife chides me with, "why haven't you been using this before?"

Excellent pix by the way.

LyB - I love panko too, sometimes I'm just not in the mood for breadcrumbs. :)

cakewardrobe - I bet you can find it in NYC. Unfortunately, I haven't seen it in Hawaii. I better use it wisely!

sorina - Thanks!!

Sharona May - Thanks, yes the panko helped to keep everything very light and slightly crunchy. :)
