Hi rowena,
Maybe it'll lessen your homesickness if you think of all the pizza, gelato, risotto, and mountains of delicious pasta you'd be missing if you were back here in Hawaii. Not to mention hikes around Lake Como (so jealous!). Your great blog posts make me miss Italy on a weekly basis! ;)

I used to order yakisoba all the time at one point in my life (wish I could remember the name of the place!). It was the sauce they used. The unique flavor of that sauce was just something else.

You make me wish I was back home already!

Hi Emiline,
Thanks! I'm thinking that recipe you tried must not have been very good because I know you are a great cook!

Hi Kevin,
Yes, I totally agree. A great way to use up those last bits of meat and vegetables hanging around. :)

I'm going to overdose on 'yak'! Just kidding.

These noodles look great. I'm not so great at making Asian-style food. Last time I tried, I got very angry at myself.
