Side Street Inn Chicken Wings

The other night we went out for dinner with our Tokyo friends who were still in town. They wanted to eat some local food so we called around. Our first choice wasn’t open for dinner that night so we decided on Side Street Inn instead.

First up we had the wing zings as you see in the photo at the top. We also ordered the steamed clams with garlic sauce (you can ask for it if you don’t see it on the menu).

Next was the pork chops…

Salad for some veggies…

Miso chicken which was very tasty and tender…

Fried rice…

and finally the Chinese style steamed fish.

Bottom line? I’d say the food here at Side Street Inn is good, but just a tiny bit on the pricey side (the total bill was a little over $200 for seven people). Overall though, I had a great time eating and hanging out there with our Tokyo friends that night!

I’ve always wanted to try their pork chops here, I’ll have to convince my family/friends to come with me the next time I’m home.

Hi kat,
I think that’s a good idea. It’s really good to go with lots of people, that way you can get all kinds of dishes to try. :)

Like they say in Hawaii when there’s all that food….”Just whack’em!”

That does sound pricey for 7 so I’m going to presume that it included drinks and tips? The chinese style steamed fish is calling my name…..

Hi shaka sherry,
Thanks for the tip, I’ll have to check that place out!

Hey rowena,
I definitely did whack ‘em. All the grinds was really ono! And yup, that price included drinks and tip.

Hi noble pig,
If you’re interested, you can find the recipe for Side Street Inn’s fried rice here.
