Yama’s Fish Market

When I’m in central Oahu I go to Highway Inn for my Hawaiian food fix. However, when I’m in town I often stop by Yama’s Fish Market on Young Street.
We always get the same thing here. He gets the #3 - Lau Lau, Lomi Salmon, Poke & Haupia ($9.00).

I get the #12 - Kalua Pig Cabbage plate ($5.85) and a side order of shoyu poke.

But wait, there’s more!
In addition to your Hawaiian plates you can also pick up all kine haupia desserts.

And don’t forget the cookies. Just tell yourself you’ll get it to bring over to your friend’s or parent’s house.

My poke…isn’t it just beautiful?

Hey lauren,
I hope you get to have your fill of Hawaiian food when you come back next month!
I know what I’ll be dreaming about when I go finally hit the sack in a few minutes. It’s almost 12 midnight, but I just HAD to get my fix on food images before turning in.
Everything here will be giving me sweet dreams!
