Dim Sum at Legends in Honolulu

Legend's Seafood Restaurant

Since we were both off this Election Day, we decided to go out for dim sum for lunch! I was being indecisive so I called up my mom for her recommendation. She named a couple of her favorites and I finally decided on Legend Seafood Restaurant.

It was a late lunch so luckily we got a table right away, cause I was starving! To start off, we got one of our favorites…look funn. Here we tried the Beef Look Funn ($4.15), very tasty!

Another of my favorites, Mochi Rice in Lotus Leaf ($3.15).

Inside you can see the rice is done just right, with the little bits of mushroom and meat in the middle. It was so good that I ordered another one before we left so I could take it to work the next day for lunch!

I wanted the bean curd roll but they were out at 1:20 pm (lunch ends at 2:00 pm). So I went with the Seafood Bundle ($3.15) instead. Although I missed my bean curd roll, this one had a similar sauce that I enjoyed.

One of my husband’s favorites is Half Moon ($3.15). I have to agree that the one we got here at Legend’s was one of the best we’ve had. The mixture inside was coated with a really tasty sauce, it wasn’t dry at all like some other take out places.

We also ordered the Chicken Manapua ($3.15), but I forgot to take a picture of it!

And last but not least, we got two Custard Tarts ($2.40) for dessert. This was also a winner! If they hadn’t sold out, we would have gotten another order to bring home!

Another great day eating in Chinatown!
