For the past couple of months we’ve been going to the Kailua Farmer’s Market on Thursday afternoons. I love the KCC Farmer’s Market…it’s just that it’s really hard for me to wake up early on Saturdays!

So this Kailua one is perfect. Lots of ono food, and at the very comfortable hour of 5:00 pm.

Hey rowena,
Glad you enjoyed the pics. I was thinking of you when I posted that polenta and arancini menu photo! :D

I’ll have to check it out when I’m back in Hawaii later next year. Looks like a good place to pick up dinner when you want a variety choices.

The Taro Sweet Bread looks good and very fluffy. Have you tried Bale Bakeries Monkey Bread? There a must try…so delicious. It’s kind of pricey though. Too bad, I only see them selling it at the Farmer’s Market. I was looking for a recipe, but I haven’t found one that has the same ingredients as what Bale has in theirs. How was the stuffed grape leaves? Oh, and the Baklava is very ono…I think Da Spot makes the best Baklava.

Hey Lauren,
The vendors are a little different each week, but I think you’d like it! ;)

Hi mmiissee,
I haven’t tried the Monkey Bread, but I’ll keep an eye out for it next time! I don’t have a lot to compare the grape leaves to, but I liked it enough that I’d order it again. :)

Everything looks so good, especially the taro sweet bread and corn + crab chowder.

Hi Cila&Abe,
Happy New Year! Hmm, I haven’t seen that for a while. Anyone else know where some good Monkey Bread is in Honolulu?
