Hiroshi Eurasion Tapas

A couple weeks ago we were able to go to one of my favorite restaurants for dinner, Hiroshi Eurasion Tapas! I love this place, the sauces are so good, I’ve always enjoyed every appetizer, entree, and dessert that I’ve had here.
First up were two things to start off with. In the top photo is one of his specialties, Sizzlin’ Moi Carpaccio. Very delicious moi (Pacific Threadfin) with ginger, Hauula tomato, tofu, and truffled ponzu sauce.

We also had Hiroshi’s Tofu Salad. This included Mrs. Cheng’s tofu, Hauula tomatoes, kaiware sprouts, salmon skin, garlic and ginger chips, sakura shrimp and sesame soy dressing.

For one of our entrees we had the Steamed Onaga, which is a snapper. This had fresh grated Big island ginger, tomato concasse, choi sum & roasted garlic soy brown butter as a sauce. Delicious!!

We also had the Panko Crusted Mekajiki which is a broadbill swordfish. This came with roasted shiitake mushrooms, zucchini, fresh thyme, Thai basil & roasted garlic soy butter sauce. I also loved this, especially the shiitake mushrooms in the roasted garlic soy butter sauce, so good!

And since we were celebrating a birthday, we got the complimentary dessert above. An all around absolutely delicious meal!

Lori-glad to see that you’re blogging again! All the fish dishes look delicious!
I checked out the link….everything looks so very good! I think if we do get to visit next year, I’ll have to set aside at least 4 days for Oahu just to check out a few places to eat. But first thing on the list is manapua!!!!!
Hey lauren,
I know, that was a long break yeah? My new japandish.com has been keeping me busy. But hopefully on the weekends I can get some posts up here as well!
Hey rowena!
Where you going for the manapua?
But yeah, consider Hiroshi’s when you’re here, it’s my favorite for fish entrees and appetizers! On the menu it says he actually catches some of the fish himself in the morning!
Our entire experience with Hiroshi was excellent. The service was wonderful as well as the food. We ordered several tapas to share so that we could taste as many items as possible from the menu. The butterfish and pork belly were amazing.
OMG everything looks good!!! I love great sauces, they make the dish alive and so yummy.
I’ll have to say my eyes got fixated on that steamed snapper tho! omg yum!
