Somen Noodles: Cool off with this dish!

It was so hot and muggy a couple nights ago. Luckily, this somen dish made a great dinner cooling us off.
Boil the somen noodles for a couple minutes, when it’s done rinse and drain. Add garnishes of your choice, pour on the somen sauce, and enjoy!
For garnish we used: char siu, egg, mustard cabbage, and green onions. So refreshing!

Lomi Lomi Salmon

Its counterparts kalua pork and lau lau may not be the healthiest of foods, but at least lomi salmon is mostly tomatoes. That makes it healthy right? That is, if you can avoid the juicy kalua pork sitting next to it on the table.
